Description:

Collins Community Credit Union, a growing financial services institution, is now taking applications for a Branch Manager for our Marion location! This position is responsible for actively selling and engaging within the community, as well as building a successful team within the branch and managing branch dynamics. The successful candidate will be an independent, outgoing individual who will constantly strive to go above and beyond and be able to easily multi-task. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate enthusiastic support of corporate mission, core values, and long-term objectives. Performs duties within our bylaws, regulations, Board of Directors policies, established internal and external service standards and our work procedures.
  • Lead by example to exemplify CCCU behaviors and service standards.
  • Facilitate business development opportunities and encourage branch employees to participate.
  • Assess local market to identify current and perspective sales opportunities.
  • Professionally participate in community involvement, engage in network opportunities to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and the company.
  • Establish branch goals and delegate appropriately throughout the branch team.
  • Regularly develop forecasting, financial objectives and business plans.
  • Appropriately evaluate and document employee performance; and weekly one on one coaching sessions with each employee to assist in their personal and professional development and growth within the credit union.
  • Regularly monitor and provide effective coaching that drives the desired behaviors.
  • Review staffing and scheduling to ensure employees are staffed appropriately during peak and slow times and to eliminate overtime.
  • Responsible for reviewing, approving, denying, and correcting employee punches and PTO requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with staffing needs as they arise or as assigned by Regional Management.
  • Detailed knowledge and effective oversight and compliance of all applicable credit union policies and procedures.
  • Maintains control over audit procedures and branch operations.
  • Review negotiable items when the amount exceeds the employee limits or other activities that need supervisory approval.
  • Detailed job and product knowledge of all branch operations and positions.
  • Conduct weekly branch team huddles.
  • Appropriately and tactfully address and resolve both external and internal member situations and concerns.
  • Strong communication between Retail Region Management team, Learning and Development and Human Resources.

Job Requirements and Expectations

  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize work assignments and organize work efficiently. Must demonstrate good time management skills to meet established deadlines.
  • 3-5 years of previous banking or credit union experience.
  • 1-3 years of previous management experience
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to obtain a knowledge of Credit Union policies, products, and procedures.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Ability to use and understand written material.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive and effective working relationships with co-workers.
  • Must be able to obtain and retain NMLS Registration and Notary Public.
  • High school diploma or the equivalent (i.e. GED).
  • Must be bondable.
