We are looking for a Part-time Branch Support & Compliance Officer to join the team. Based in Auckland Airport, you will drive compliance in multiple key performance indicators for the company, as well as support the branches where needed in operations, administration, and store duties. Your responsibilities may include, but not be limited to:

  • Maintaining the health & safety dashboard (Vault) and coordinating completion of compliance actions and documents e.g. incident investigations, corrective actions, training refreshers, license renewals, new site risk assessments and reviews, contractor inductions, PLI and safety documentation, collate various inspections (branch premises, customer sites, applicable HSEQ processes).
  • Maintaining a branch compliance plan and providing accurate and timely reporting and recording of applicable operational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This may include monitoring a branch risk dashboard and coordinating responses to ensure compliance.
  • Maintaining documentation and reporting in other applications – Job Adder (recruitment), E-Road (fleet vehicles), and more.
  • Conducting regular site visits (including branch premises), checking for efficiency of adherence to agreed upon operational procedures and supporting processes.
  • Supporting managers and supervisors to be trained to meet their quality and H&S operational standards.
  • Supporting recruitment screening requirements e.g. completion of company and site inductions, security clearances recorded and forwarded for follow-up where needed.
  • Maintaining monthly consumables/chemical stock levels in the branches, including ordering and storing under each location for each customer, ensuring receipt of inward/outward stock, and reporting anomalies to the relevant operational managers and area administrator.
  • Collating and entering staff’s weekly timesheets into payroll spreadsheet within deadlines.
  • Supporting with general office and administration duties e.g. topping up coffee/tea/sugar, making photocopies as requested, maintaining the office visitor sign in/out register.

The ideal individual for this role will have a mature approach to time management in an operational environment, proven success in working well with people at all levels, excellent skills in administration and technology, timely and effective reporting skills, and a sense of responsibility to your own work on top of being an enthusiastic team player. Requirements:

  • reliable means of transport to get to and from sites when needed
  • Some flexibility in your work schedule (as some work may take place after-hours due to availability of customer sites, as well as time needed for some travel)
  • Ability to pass any relevant security clearances.
