About the Division
The Employee Safety, Wellbeing and Inclusion Division helps create safe, healthy, respectful and inclusive working environments to help employees thrive and succeed.
The Division’s teams span from prevention to response and recovery, strategy, advice and support, and diversity and inclusion. The Division adopts a holistic approach to supporting our workforce’s health, safety and wellbeing across schools and central and regional offices. This includes Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Workers’ Compensation policy advice and support for both physical and mental health and wellbeing, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
About the Role

Join our dynamic team as a Branch Support officer, where you will have the opportunity to play a key role providing high-quality executive and administration support to the Leadership team. Reporting into the Director/Executive Health, Safety & Wellbeing, you will be primarily responsible for:

  • General administrative support, coordinating and tracking requests for briefings, correspondence, reports etc. Diary management, overseeing and coordinating meetings, conference preparations, including preparing agendas and follow up actions, other administrative tasks as required to support the division.
  • Overseeing day-to-day support operations, working collaboratively to support the division in its pursuit to create healthy and safe, working and learning environments for the Department.
  • Assisting with ordering equipment and processing invoices through Oracle procurement.
  • Providing timely support with consolidating data and preparing branch reports.
  • Preparing written communication for stakeholders to support divisional priorities, working in alignment with the Department’s policies, procedures and protocols.
  • Regularly contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and actively supporting projects as a vital member of the Leadership support team.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant EA/PA experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with exceptional planning and organising skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to recognise barriers, stay agile and prioritise effectively.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to learning and developing skills required to achieve divisional goals.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, effectively dealing with uncertainty and resolving issues, constructively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide a high-quality administrative support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
