For our growth in the middle-east region, we are planning to hire to the earliest convenience a
Brand Ambassador for the Region UAE/GCC (m/f/d)
The holder of the position has the responsibility for the Steinway brands’ development in the United Arab Emirates and GCC within the Steinway & Sons EMEA region. The Ambassador is responsible for representing and promoting Steinway but also Music and Art within the geographic area. This individual serves as the face of Steinway and cultivates relationships with musicians, dealers, and key stakeholders, acting as a liaison between Steinway and the local community to enhance brand visibility and strengthen the company’s market presence.

The position is also key for the business development in this identified growth region. The Ambassador plays a crucial role in driving sales and market expansion especially in the GCC. The ambassador identifies opportunities for growth, engages in strategic partnerships, and implements initiatives to elevate Steinway’s profile.The position is based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai, reports directly to the Director of Sales EMEA and works directly with the President EMEA, too. The Brand Ambassador cooperates and aligns with the Area Management of the region and the local dealer.

  • Present Steinway & Sons within the music and business community in the region.
  • Form networks, build up relationships with all stakeholders in the region, including musicians, artists, educators, universities, schools, dealers and relevant government departments.
  • Be the official brand representative at events, concerts, meetings and in any aspect communicate the brand values and its role as a member of the cultural community
  • Drive sales and market expansion in the region.
  • Identify growth opportunities and implement a UAE / GCC strategy in alignment with the EMEA Sales & Marketing headquarter in Hamburg and within the specific budget.
  • Support the development of Steinway Showrooms in the region and other retail operations.
  • Work with the company’s Concert & Artist department on defining a local Steinway Artist Program for performing pianists, for upcoming stars and talents.
  • Organize and participate in events, concerts, masterclasses, and workshops to promote Steinway pianos and piano music in general, e.g. by developing young talent competitions.
  • Develop bonds with key opinion leaders in the music and cultural world. Work with teachers, concert halls, music universities and schools in the region to support piano music, their joy for playing.
  • Enhance the brand visibility in the region and strengthen Steinway’s market presence.
  • Establish and implement a dedicated Brand Marketing Plan, a concept of “Customer Relationship Management” and “Social Media Management” and integrate and support the successful implementation of “Service Management” within the region. Work with the EMEA team and the local dealer on this.
  • Be vigilant on competitive activities and respond strategically with actions/ proposals.
  • Genuine passion about piano music and the Steinway brand to authentically represent Steinway and cultivate a shared passion within the community.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the brand’s heritage, the product portfolio and the values of the brand to compellingly communicate with diverse stakeholders, from professional musicians to potential buyers.
  • Broad understanding of the piano market, the competitive landscape and staying informed about market trends, competitor activities and market developments to identify growth opportunities and challenges for the brand.
  • University / master’s degree in music or business administration / marketing or similar.
  • Min. 5 years of relevant work experience with a proven track record, e.g. in the music environment, in commercial sales / retail position or in brand promotion – ideally in the premium or luxury goods business.
  • Extremely dedicated and passionate about the brand and its values, and also for music and culture in general.
  • Conceptual skills, target oriented with motivational leadership skills in a remote organization and leading by influence and proper stakeholder management. Ambitious and solution oriented to build up new relationships.
  • Very flexible, mobile, ambitious, independent, resilient, self-confident personality with can-do attitude and effective team-orientation.
  • Outstanding personality, the highest cultural sensitiveness & knowledge with all level communication skills. Global project management experiences, international environment with focus on ME cultural environment, and strong technical leadership skills.
  • Fluent in English, ideally advanced in Arabic language and utmost cultural understanding.
