Description:

CHARLIE MEYLERBRAND AND CONTENT STRATEGIST

We are looking for a Brand Assistant to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone who is looking to start a career in marketing and wants to work in Manchester’s fastest-growing agency.
Assisting the Brand team, your job will involve a myriad of tasks – from helping strengthen Embryo’s online presence by internal linking to assisting colleagues with our sales outreach.
We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude who wants to jump in with both feet into the world of marketing and has an analytical mind and a willingness to learn.
In return, as well as a range of benefits, you’ll be working alongside some of the North’s most talented marketers, providing you with an education that will set you up for a successful career in marketing.

SKILLS

  • Willingness to learn – this role is varied and dynamic. Each day will be different and you will be learning and expected to pick up new skills and practices quickly.
  • Ability to juggle tasks and switch between them – one minute you could be doing internal linking for a piece of content, and the next helping package content for sales outreach. We’re looking for someone comfortable switching between different types of work.
  • Internal Communication – You should have good communication skills ensuring that updates are reported to the wider team promptly. You should feel comfortable communicating SEO tasks, analysis and issues to relevant team members and other departments.
  • Time Management – We use a fantastic tool to assist in time management, but you should also be confident that your workload is manageable and that appropriate deadlines are set and met.
  • Passion – You should be passionate about wanting to grow your digital marketing skillset and begin a career in this industry.
  • Good problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.

Responsibilities:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creating an internal linking engine that ensures new and old content on Embryo’s site is regularly linked to one another. You will develop a deep knowledge of Embryo’s content and be able to spot internal linking opportunities. This task will be integral to Embryo’s online growth and will be a huge part of your day-to-day work.
  • Optimising images but creating appropriate titles and meta descriptions
  • Content will be written for the Embryo site, its social media channels, or for reports on an industry topic, on occasion.
  • Uploading content to the Embryo site and ensuring it is optimised to Embryo’s best practices as well as adding internal and external links where necessary.
  • Liaising with third parties to deliver assets and content for Embryo on time.
  • Assisting the Brand team with the sales outreach programme. Be it printing envelopes, formatting addresses, or ensuring content is sent out to prospective clients, you will be on hand to help wherever needed.
