Job Title: Brand Assistant
Job Type: Contract (6 months)
Location: London
Day Rate: £150 per day
Opportunity Overview: An exciting opportunity has risen to temporality join my client DeBeers, the world’s leading diamond company, as a Brand Assistant.
Role Objective: This role is to support and help ensure the smooth running of the Brand and Content team. The Brand and Content team sits at the ‘heart’ of the De Beers marketing function by shaping how the world sees the brand through its campaigns and content.
This role will support the Brand Manager and work closely with the Creative Studio to provide administrative support and to help deliver projects in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Brand Manager on the approvals of global media placements, being the main point of the contact for the team to review media placements and ensure these are aligned to the brand guidelines (logo placement and approved copy) and are always approved in a timely manner. Work closely with the Media team to provide content adapted to the media formats, managing the briefing process with our internal graphic designers.
  • Assist the Brand team in scheduling in reviews and meetings with key stakeholders to ensure the seamless delivery of brand strategy, campaigns and content.
  • Ensure all new content is uploaded to the content management system (FotoWare) and is tagged accordingly, working closely with the Studio Project Manager.
  • Manage the usage tracker, updating the tracker with all usage requirements for each new asset and communicating to all stakeholders when usage is due to expire.
  • Support the Brand Manager on competitive analysis, monitoring key competitor activity.
  • Work with Legal to ensure communication materials developed are legally compliant and trademarks are in place - conducting primary searches via Corsearch platform.
  • Proofreading copy to ensure it is accurate and grammatically correct.
  • Work closely with the Brand Manager and product teams on the creation of product lists for photoshoots.
  • Supporting on the security process plan for photoshoots to ensure plans are in place and are approved by senior management.
  • Coordinate all necessary materials required for consumer research.
  • Support the Brand Manager to respond to requests for imagery, presentations and films.
  • Support the Brand Manager on the creation of brand presentations to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Degree level qualifications
  • Graphic design experience desirable
  • Experience working for a B2C/Retail Brand - experience in a premium / luxury retail brand globally is a bonus.
  • Understands the purpose & objectives of own functional area and how it aligns with the other parts of the organisation
  • Ability to problem solve with information at their disposal
  • Understands own role in relation to the team and how it contributes
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management - attention to detail is key.
  • Experience of understanding Brand Guidelines.
  • Experience at briefing and managing Graphic Designers.
  • Ability to think long term while juggle short term priorities.
