Description:

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE

  • >3-year Marketing degree / post graduate diploma in Marketing or business discipline
  • 2-5 experience in marketing or marketing CPG company (Brand Marketing preferred)
  • Strong communication, storytelling and influencing skills
  • Must be agile and track record of working independently.
  • Has demonstrated ability to use insights to inform recommendations.
  • Self-starter must be able to take ownership of tasks and work within a team.
  • Intermediate ability across Microsoft tools
  • Experience in working within a regulated industry)
  • Digital experience would be an added advantage (SoMe, CRM, Ecom, Paid Media)
  • Project management skills and experience

Responsibilities:

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The role supports the Brand Manager in the adaption of brand building initiatives across a wide spectrum of strategic pillars to deliver on business growth objectives. The role will be focused on the new categories (Vaping and Modern Oral).

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Assist in adapting and executing campaign plans through internal stakeholders.
  • Plan and deliver key brand activities on time and in full, optimizing efficiencies and effectiveness. Ensure all the required brand tools (pack, product, communication, research plans,) are managed effectively to meet required key milestones whilst ensuring alignment with brand strategy. Ensure all marketing regulatory requirements are aligned through engagement with LeX (Legal affairs)
  • Assess campaigns effectiveness through data analysis and market visits.
  • Review and analyse, research & brand performance in a clear concise manner to understand brand issues and market opportunities providing sound recommendations, focus on required actions.
  • Upskill acumen in product and packaging requirements to help drive effective consultation with the technical expert team(s) to deliver on innovative and superior quality of pack and product solutions aligned with desired brand ambitions.
  • Actively report brand expenditure to ensure it does not exceed budget defined in operational brand plan.
  • Stakeholder engagement Collaborate with and manage internal project stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of brand programs.
  • Manage external agencies partners to ensure day to day activities related brand programs are performed with required quality and agreed cost & timescales.
