Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

The Brand & Franchise Marketing team acts as a facilitator among The Walt Disney Company Lines of Businesses, collaborating on an EMEA and UK scale to drive connected brand and franchise marketing strategies based on audience insights and financial performance. In this role you will deliver strategic plans for XLOB brand and franchise marketing priorities; collating and digesting XLOB insights and metrics to build dynamic and current strategic frameworks for The Walt Disney Company marketing teams to align behind. The role is also responsible for campaign management of a combination of evergreen The Walt Disney Company brands and franchises across Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar and National Geographic, delivering campaigns that improve opportunities within our business priorities – leading all aspects of the campaign delivery, XLOB comms and metrics. Also ensuring efficient workflows and communication processes across EMEA and UK.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Work with Research, Business Development and LOB data sources to build out the challenges and opportunities per franchise.
  • Proactively seek out and understand available insights that drive the strategic direction of business marketing priorities
  • Develop a deep knowledge of, and become the expert and guardian of, selected brand and franchise priorities.
  • Be the expert and guardian of designated brands/franchises
  • Own the corporate level franchise direction for designated branded franchises and ensure efficient comms around the business.
  • Champion and facilitate integrated cross-company alignment and collaboration; seek opportunities and develop marketing plans which create value for the wider business
  • Be point person for campaign strategy and implementation guidance for the EMEA local markets, providing templates to monitor adoption and implementation. Develop close collaborative relationships and ensure comms flow in both directions
  • Lead UK campaign and budgets for designated brands / franchises
