Along with HX and Hurtigruten Svalbard, we are part of Hurtigruten Group, the global leader in sustainable, inspirational adventure travel, employing more than 2,400 staff and crew from over 50 nationalities.
We are now looking for someone for a temporary position (might be a need for a permanent position eventually) as Brand & Guest Data analyst in Hurtigruten Norway – will report to our Head of Brand & Guest Experience and Concepts. The temporary position will initially be for one year.
The role as Brand & Guest Data analyst is pivotal in analyzing customer feedback, Net Promoter Score (NPS) responses, and market surveys to provide actionable insights that contribute to decision-making and strategic planning.
The successful candidate will be part of the Data & Analytics team and collaborate closely with the brand, commercial, and guest experience teams to build and improve insight, conducting research and analytics, source and analyze data across multiple internal and external sources and provide actionable insights for the team.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, analytics, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in customer experience analysis, NPS analysis, and brand/market survey analysis.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools, such as Power BI, Excel.
  • Strong Data Analysis skills with proficiency in DAX, solid understanding of visualization principles.
  • Knowledge in Power BI administration, architecture and best practices for effective model management, performance optimisation and governance compliance.
  • Ability to translate business requirement into insightful data models and solutions.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Guest journey design work or analytics linked to guest experience.
  • SQL is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse customer feedback, NPS responses, and survey data to extract meaningful insights.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Design, execute, and analyse brand and market surveys to gather insights into brand perception, market trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Work with the Data and Analytics team, utilizing tools such as Power BI for data visualization and analysis.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of analytics dashboards and reporting systems.
  • Collaborate closely with the brand and marketing teams to align insights with brand strategy and marketing campaigns.
  • Work with the guest experience team to understand and address customer pain points and enhance overall satisfaction.
  • Provide insights and data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and present reports to relevant stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Clearly communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
