We are looking to hire a Product “Brand” Manager I immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and results in consumer-packaged goods marketing or closely related field ?
- Expertise in syndicated databases, market research, business and brand planning, advertising, finance, promotional activities, and consumer communications
- Strong project leadership experience with ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple projects
- Sound understanding of concepts, principles and practices in Marketing and a basic understanding of other areas including Sales, Finance and Supply Chain
- In-depth understanding of how own area integrates with other Marketing areas and with other functional areas
- Deep understanding of the industry sector and competitive landscape
- Developed communication and diplomacy skills required to guide, influence, and convince others (internal and external); often customer-facing; interactions with senior leadership.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the segment focus: overall P&L, pricing, and budget.
- Closely monitor and analyze sales volume, market share and competition to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Deliver comprehensive summary of segment analysis and insights for monthly business review and quarterly share review.
- Work with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Trade Marketing to project accurate volume forecasting assumptions, including long term projections.
- Lead development of annual brand plan for presentation and alignment to divisional cross-functional teams; identifying pillars for growth and gaining buy in from partners.
- Collaborate with S&E Design team on new products and line extension development
- Collaborate with Global Marketing on development of advertising and promotions
- Lead analysis and delivery of a specific annual strategic project that aligns to McCormick’s Vision for Spices & Extracts – To be the fastest growing category in center store!
