As the UK Brand Manager for Rare Diseases, you will influence the successful launch and growth of our Rare Disease brands by working collaboratively across functions and with Global. You will be responsible for developing and implementing our commercial strategy and tactical plans through a range of omnichannel/ digital activities to drive engagement with customers and maximise brand performance. Responsibilities of the Brand Manager :

Effective Brand Leadership

  • Lead development & propose marketing inputs to the strategic Brand Plan with a patient-centric focus
  • Lead the tactical design and implementation of marketing initiatives, to include:
  • Multi-channel initiatives to drive customer engagement
  • Multi-stakeholder initiatives
  • Interactive and customised content
  • Play a pro-active role as member of the Brand Team and share Brand Team priorities with in-field team
  • To plan and execute educational platforms as defined by the brand plan
  • To manage agency relationships to ensure projects are delivered to a clear brief and are on time/budget
  • Maintain required knowledge of the market and competitor activities. Produce frequent market reports and competitor analysis information. Instigate relevant activities as necessary.
  • Produce and present Brand & Business reviews to Senior Management, including Regional Marketing.
  • Further develop the Company and brand image though building positive relationships with relevant external bodies, key influencers and opinion leaders within the industry and profession, addressing meetings and attending conferences and general ‘customer liaison’ at all levels. Drive for Results
  • Developrobust strategies and lead multi-disciplinary projects to achieve success
  • Through development of strong customer facing relationships, the Brand Manager will be able to anticipate obstacles and their implications and working with the cross functional teamto develop robust actionplans, with clear leadership during implementation.
  • Identify potential significant -positive or negative -deviations as early as possible and provide management updates. When course correction is required recommend or make adjustments with a sense of urgency
  • Produce accurate and timely forecasts, budgets and market share information in consultation with the management team and sales force. Operate the necessary control/feedback mechanisms and recommend timely and appropriate action to achieve marketing and financial objectives.
