SKILLS AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of related experience in marketing and advertising with proven ability to deliver results
  • Deep knowledge of digital marketing platforms and a proven track record for leading integrated marketing efforts from concept to execution
  • Social media marketing leadership for B2B and B2C brands
  • Experience with MMM and MTA platforms and methodologies
  • Advanced knowledge of paid media, social marketing, and lead generation strategies
  • Highly fungible and able to easily adapt to shifting priorities without disruption

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

U.S. Bank’s Head of Brand & Creative is seeking a Brand Execution professional with proven leadership experience to maximize the impact of brand advertising, paid media, content and social marketing. This individual will lead and oversee the execution of brand marketing strategies that that drive business outcomes through build awareness, drive consideration, and preference to support the breadth of the U.S. Bank business.
U.S. Bank is focused on enhancing customer service, building new capabilities, and driving efficiency and effectiveness across business lines and corporate functions. As such, this individual must bring a desire to lead change on behalf of clients and team members alike, and be able to operate in a centralized, highly accountable construct. This individual must strike the right balance between leading change at a swift pace while maintaining a disciplined focus on driving business outcomes and developing talent in the team.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This is an experienced position requiring strong leadership/management, marketing and communications strategy, social marketing, media strategy and planning, search engine marketing, and project management skills.
  • This leader will recruit, manage, and develop a team of 10-15 high-performing marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, connection to culture, and continuous improvement.
  • Responsible for developing individual strategies and leading the implementation of omnichannel marketing programs and activities to drive business outcomes and create engagement with key profile audiences.
  • Identifies critical performance indicators for each campaign to ensure proper measurement, data tracking, and the ability to share, with clarity and simplicity, how campaigns and programs are delivering against desired business outcomes and return on investment goals for a given execution.
  • Monitors critical performance indicators and is responsible for identifying and executing on-the-fly changes to brand campaigns, content programs, social marketing, and paid media as necessary.
  • Partners with internal brand & creative leaders, business unit marketing leaders, agency partners and other internal stakeholders to develop brand advertising campaigns and social media marketing
  • Leads the execution, launch and measurement of segment-specific marketing strategies and campaigns across channels and platforms
  • Provides brand media and content support for variety of marketing channels including as sponsorship, experiential, corporate and client events, content partnerships, etc.
  • Adapts marketing and media priorities to address agility, resource, and operational challenges.
  • Collaborates with internal partners to ensure that all brand and social marketing programs are in accordance with all laws, regulations, and bank policies. Will partner successfully with internal and external stakeholders to drive brand and revenue objectives.
  • Responsible for managing the 40-60mm brand marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of funds across existing activities, establishing, and funding test & learn agendas to improve and expand capabilities and activities, balancing near-term and long-term growth and efficiency needs.
