Job Description Summary:
As the Brand Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the organization’s brand strategy, communication, and brand governance. This role will maintain the standards of our brand across all channels and partners, ensuring consistency and resonance with the target audience. They will collaborate with various departments to enhance the overall brand presence and ensure consistency of CFA Institutes brand.
This position will be based in London.
Job Description:

As the Brand Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Brand Communication:
  • Create and manage communication strategies to maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing, public relations, and communication teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
  • Ensures the consistent communication of the CFA Institute Brand from a global perspective.
  • Confirm that within the various products and global markets, the CFA Institute brand remains consistent.
  • Brand Guidelines:
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistent application of the brand across all materials and touchpoints.
  • Advises with various stakeholders to ensure brand alignment across the organization and products.
  • Educate and enforce brand guidelines among internal teams and external partners.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, product development, and sales, to align brand strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with external agencies, vendors, and partners to execute brand campaigns and initiatives.
  • Partner with different stakeholders regarding business objectives ensuring the brand is used on a consistent basis following the brand guidelines set forth.
  • Brand Monitoring:
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, consumer feedback, and competitive activities to adjust brand strategies as needed.
  • Conduct regular brand health assessments and performance evaluations.
  • Along with partnering with market analyst and leadership to monitor success of campaigns and initiatives, conduct research analyzing data for trends and insights. Recommend changes to increase brand awareness and health of the brand.
  • Budget Management:
  • Manage and allocate budgets effectively for brand-related initiatives, ensuring maximum return on investment and supports branding efforts.
  • Develop strategy that distinguishes CFA Institute within the global market.
  • Monitor the brand within specific global markets by reviewing all brand initiative results and make recommendations and allocate funds based on a ROI view.

The skills and experience for this role are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 plus years of experience in digital brand management that includes brand monitoring, communication, and maintaining guidelines.
  • Professional experience utilizing tools for media relationship management, customer relationship management (CRM) software, and social media monitoring.
  • Persuasive communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Budget management and allocation experience is required.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with social media management and content creation.
  • Excellent people skills including a professional and diplomatic demeanor.
  • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, listening, and presentation.
  • Fluency in English required, knowledge of additional languages would be useful.
