Our client is a leading distributor in the CPG industry. They have partnered with Lock Search Group to recruit for a Brand Marketing Specialist to join the team at their South Surrey, British Columbia location. They are seeking a senior marketing professional with the ability to manage multiple brands. This individual will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives.
Key responsibilities include creating and implementing marketing campaigns, conducting market research, analyzing consumer trends, and driving brand awareness and customer engagement. The successful candidate will also manage partnerships/ sponsorships and work closely with other agencies. To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities, as well as work with a diverse group of people.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prefer a post-secondary education (degree or certificate) – with a focus in Marketing or Communications.
  • 3+ years in a Marketing Specialist or similar role (ideally within the food, produce or beverage industry).
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, consumer behavior, and market research methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for different marketing mediums.
  • Proficiency in using marketing tools and platforms such as email marketing software, social media management tools, and analytics.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous graphic design touchpoint and digital experience would be an asset.
  • The ability to multitask / wear many hats is also important.
