Description:

Purpose:
To drive business excellence and lead the end-to-end processes behind samples, go-to-market, data and systems to achieve brand goals. Support with the infrastructure, mindset and capabilities to implement NAM and market specific sell in tools that allow Product Merchandizing teams to focus on their tasks in a consistent and efficient way. With a strong emphasis on all aspects of the route-to-market for samples across adidas, and adidas Golf businesses. This includes order management, logistics and import, sales distribution, quarterly liquidation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own communication, and policing of all seasonal sample deadlines and calendars across the Canadian business to ensure all internal stakeholders are aligned and clear on expectations, accountabilities and deliverables.
  • Update Product Merchandizing teams post sample deadlines on confirmed sample orders, and lead ongoing communication of inbound sample status, delays, ETA’s in regular cadence.
  • Own sample issue resolution and Q&A across all departments and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the timely and accurate return of samples from Sales at the end of each season. This includes building process with BDC on sample pairing and receiving in preparation for possible re-sale.
  • Develop and manage a process to enable the timely liquidation of samples. Prepare inventory lists of samples to be liquidated through non-traditional channels based on this process.
  • Work closely with USA and Global counterparts to identify new ways of managing samples to continuously improve our local processes.
  • Support systems & tools – Implementation, Training, Maintenance and Enhancement for the Canadian market
  • Coordinate and implement change management for sell-in systems and processes. Act as a liaison between end users and the systems and processes.
  • Represent the needs of the Merchandising Team in cross functional meetings.
  • Facilitate market specific GTM milestone and calendars with key stakeholders and provide clear vision of seasonal priorities for Product Merchandizing teams.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • Community college graduate, or equivalency in education and experience
