Responsibilities:

The Brand Planner role sits within the heart of our Marketing team, dedicated to growing our product and brand presence and boosting revenue. On top of planning, creating and delivering marketing communication plans you’ll be responsible for:

  • Using market research & data to shape and evolve the overarching brand plans, specifically our audience targeting plans, comms architecture, messaging, content marketing strategy and channel strategy to deliver on our marketing objectives.
  • Producing the marketing comms plan for new product launches, providing a clear view on product positioning, messaging and tactics to overcome barriers and increase acquisition.
  • Diagnose and convert marketing goals & initiatives into marketing communication briefs for our internal teams and agencies — and then be a driving force to turn those briefs into brilliant commercial work and campaigns.
  • Working hand-in-glove with our wider marketing team and external agencies, shaping the delivery plan that ladders back to achieving our performance metrics.
  • Provide planning guidance across the channel mix and investment allocation for all brand marketing activity.
  • Partner effectively with our creative and media agencies to develop powerful campaign concepts and plans.
  • Provide day-to-day governance and sign-off of creative output, ensuring that everything we do aligns to our overarching plans and guidelines.
  • Monitor brand health and feed recommendations and updates on how we are solving impacts and changes, into any reports.
  • Lead our messaging and content strategy, briefing the SEO and creative teams accordingly.
  • Work with the in-house insights team and external agencies to test new concepts before production.
  • Collaborate with the design and copy lead to shape the visual and verbal identity and guidelines.
  • Be on hand to develop innovative and creative growth initiatives to address short-term business challenges or hurdles, specifically considering how we address the competition, manage the brand, and continue to improve our customer experience to maintain our market leadership
