THE EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Proven experience in brand and product marketing.
- Fashion / Retail background with an interest in the competitive landscape.
- An understanding of marketing channels, techniques, and tools (PPC, Email, Social, SEO, PR) and a keen interest in data and insight.
- Commercial understanding to inform marketing strategies.
- Experience working across multiple markets: an understanding of the US consumer is particularly valuable.
- Proven experience in project management and a key understanding of critical path-ways.
Responsibilities:
A BIT ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the brand identity and driving product awareness and engagement for Boden in key markets. You will help to develop brand and product marketing briefs for seasonal and monthly campaigns, propositions and categories whilst taking accountability for the briefing process and team critical path. You’ll also support with ongoing category strategies, enabling Boden to be front of mind for key products with new and existing customers. The purpose of this role is to support in translating our brand and product vision into a marketing strategy that will help grow engagement, brand visibility and sales. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strategic and creative thinking, and a strong understanding of consumer behaviour and market trends.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support in the development of insight-led strategies for Boden’s key categories and propositions, working closely with the product and design teams to understand what makes Boden special, and the key categories to drive fame for.
- Assist in the development of product marketing briefs for our key seasonal and monthly campaigns, supporting on the creative strategies that help bring campaigns to life whilst capitalising on key calendar moments and dates.
- Align all channels and trading teams to come together to effectively communicate our key marketing messages and ensure we are delivering a full-funnel campaign and maximising return on investment.
- Own the technical briefing process. Ensuring the input of product and channel requirements, supporting with creative on the asset creation process.
- Collaborate with the wider brand and content team – PR, social, content – to bring campaigns to life and shape the stories, talent mix and channel approach that will resonate with new and existing customers.
- To develop a comprehensive understanding of the competitive and market landscape, enabling informed decision-making on a monthly basis.
- Identify key big buy products, ensuring they have sufficient marketing coverage.
- Support with our approach to brand partnerships, enabling us to drive business growth with adjacent partners.
- Lead the promotions process, overseeing the critical path and orchestrating the creative journey to ensure timely delivery of key milestones. Additionally, contribute valuable market, trade, and brand insights during planning meetings.
- Assisting in identifying pivotal products that will elevate Boden’s brand recognition, with a particular emphasis on capturing the attention of the US consumer market.
- Leading management and documentation of key product information, coordinating multiple teams to ensure alignment on product details and messaging.
