BRIDGE INSPECTION ASSISTANT TEAM LEADER

(SIE) is a full-service consulting engineering firm based in downtown Manhattan providing services in civil, structural, transportation engineering, bridge & facility inspection, construction management & inspection and lighting design. We are engaged in local community improvement projects to large, high-profile, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects with a strong reputation of delivering a wide range of projects for our clients in the public sector.
SIE is currently seeking a Bridge Inspection Assistant Team Leader for our Manhattan, Melville, or Elmsford Offices to support bridge inspection projects for long span, roadway, and rail bridge inspection projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare in-office support for field inspections, such as development of inspection documentation forms prior to field work
- Perform field inspection duties and subsequent inspection reports in compliance with Client Requirements
- Travel to required project location(s)
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering
- At least 3 years of recent bridge experience in inspection, design, or other bridge related work
- Current FHWA/NHI Bridge Inspection Training (2 Week Bridge Safety Training) and/or Refresher Course
- FE/EIT certification
