JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• A good basic degree or diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or its equivalent.
• Ability to perform shift work.
• Effective verbal & writing skills.
• A strong interest & knowledge in media broadcast technology will be an added advantage

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• PLAN MEDIA INFRASTRUCTURE AND OPERATIONSi. Execute project related to DTV transmitter systems, including transmitters, combiner and antennas.ii. Provide technical consultation services and advices to users on technical capabilities of equipment/system.iii. Execute project related to FM transmitter systems including transmitters, combiner and antennas.iv. Commission FM/DTV transmission system.v. Execute Business Continuity Plan.
• MANAGE LINEAR MEDIA OPERATIONSi. Assist in developing contingency plans and equipment redundancies to minimise loss of service from technical failure.ii. Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all Transmission operations to guide the Transmission operations teams.iii. Render service to support the Transmission operations team.iv. Troubleshoot any technical issues that may impact Transmission operation.v. Adhere to workplace safety and cyber security.
• MANAGE MAINTENANCE SUPPORT ACTIVITIESi. Assist in annual preventive maintenance.ii. Adhere to internal service level agreements (SLAs).iii. Review Transmission equipment and infrastructure to recommend upgrades.
• MANAGE TEAMS AND/OR DEPARTMENTSi. Adhere to common goals, direction and accountability among staff.ii. Assist teammates in carrying out projects, operation and maintenance works.
