Broadcast Executive Assistant (Media Operations)
Position Overview
The Media Operations Broadcast Executive Assistant is to coordinate, maintain, and ensure 100% uptime on all broadcast playout-related services. This role will support the Broadcast Development department in driving the broadcast roadmap and strategies for innovations, features, and enhancements.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day media preparation services by promptly processing media, subtitle files, and audio files to the respective Playout system or external parties.
  • Respond and update clients on all technical issues that may arise.
  • Track and follow closely on all missing transmission assets/ Playlist schedules.
  • Engage with the internal team, client, and external parties (dubbing / subtitling house) by establishing processes for the timely delivery of media assets.
  • Perform audio/video QC checks on all incoming and re-process video files
  • Append and realign daily automation playlist.
  • Process Video-on-Demand content (VOD) according to the customer’s requirements and ensure that all materials are delivered on time as stipulated by the Client.
  • Perform other and ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Diploma in Business Administration / Mass Communication or similar qualifications.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a broadcast environment is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of non-linear editing skills is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and against time.
  • Keen interest in new technological developments.
  • Self-motivated and responsible with lots of initiative.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and resolve problems.
  • Able to work under minimum supervision.
  • Workdays: Mon-Fri (8.30 am-5.30 pm)
  • Remote access during weekends might be required as and when necessary.
