Description:
The Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is seeking a Budget/Business Analyst to join its finance and grants management team. The Budget/Business Analyst will be responsible for grants management, program business management, financial reporting, budget analysis, and problem solving.
Responsible for monitoring financial activity, reconciling accounts, producing monthly account summaries and projection reports, invoicing, business and payroll support.
The position supports faculty and programs with payroll, purchasing, reimbursements, and everything related to the operations of assigned faculty, grants, programs, and accounts ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed across all areas of research and program administration.
Preferred Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree with grants management, financial analysis or accounting experience and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel. Combined experience/education may be a substitute for minimum education.
Other skills include: Excel (pivot tables and charts, formulas, data validation), Access (creating tables, relationships/joining, queries, forms and reports), and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational and written/oral communications. Ability to follow through with assigned tasks with minimal supervision; focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
Prior experience in accounting, budget management, grants management and financial and budget reporting.
The hourly rate range for this position is $34.36 - $38.46.
