  • Proven experience as a Builder’s Labourer or Construction Worker preferred but not required.
  • Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team or independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to follow safety guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the erection and repair of structures and facilities on building and construction sites.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and more experienced workers to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
  • Operate hand and power tools as required for tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
  • Load and unload construction materials and equipment from trucks and other vehicles.
  • Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris, rubbish, and hazardous materials.
  • Assist in the assembly of flooring systems, construct wall frames, construct ceiling frames, erect roof trusses. Install and replace stairs, kitchen and bathroom accessories, windows, and doors
  • Plan and organize work, carry out measurements, calculations, read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on construction sites and in factory settings.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
