THE TEAM AND JOB SUMMARY

J.S. Held is seeking a Senior Consultant with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service and superior work product to clientele. You will be responsible for the scheduling, inspection, support, and delivery of multiple projects across various disciplines within the insurance and construction industries. JS Held is focused on learning and development and is continually looking to attract and retain top talent who are creative, self-motivated, and organized.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS in Engineering, Construction Management or related field
  • Knowledge in Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of developing scope and estimating construction work
  • Project Management experience and ability to organize and evaluate complex project files
  • Must have excellent writing skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Industry related degrees, credentials, or certifications
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Preparation of professional reports
  • Litigation support/testimony experience a plus.

Physical and Mental Job Qualifications

  • Travel is required as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • 7+ years’ experience in Construction or Construction Insurance Consulting
  • Construction Estimating
  • Analyze delay claims in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project utilizing Critical Path Methodology (CPM) schedule analysis
  • Review and analyze construction claim costs related to Insurance events
  • Review construction contracts for terms and conditions applicable to a claim
  • Provide updated schedule analysis, including potential timeline impacts and narrative reports
