Description:

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of technical and non¬technical staff in performing preventive/ad-hoc maintenance, facilities and building works; co-ordinating and integrating all works performed under the Services;
  • Co-ordinate and supervise works done by contractors and ensure their performance are in conformance with the Service Level Agreements;
  • Ensure all installation works are maintained in conformance with all building and statutory requirements;
  • Ensure all works and services carry out within MFA premise comply with
  • Follow-up on any other instructions issued from time to time by the Authority or its representatives;
  • Update and administer both pre-and post-contract administration works for Term Contracts and minor improvement works;
  • Supervision of site staff;
  • Plan and supervise the maintenance works;
  • Liaise and coordinate with Subcontractors/vendors and ensuring their maintenance works/service delivery are completed on time and as per contract requirements and agreed KPIs;
  • Certify payment for work done;
  • Management of contracts - ensure strict compliance to clauses and accurate submission of critical documents.

Requirements

  • The Building Manager shall possess a recognised degree or diploma from a recognised tertiary establishment in Building Services or Facilities Management or Mechanical or Electrical or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years (degree) / 12 years (diploma) relevant working experience in similar building type with a proven management background.
  • The proposed BM shall managed an accumulated building portfolio of 20,000 sqm in the past 5 years.
