Position: Business Analyst (Fixed-Term)
Location: Auckland and Wellington only.

This is a (10 months) Fixed-Term role.
As a Datacom Business Analyst you would engage with your stakeholder from the outset, helping them define objectives and requirements showing leadership and innovation. You will have a solid business background, being able to talk the language of your stakeholders so they can see that you have captured their requirements, and they understand the solution you are proposing. You will be equally adept at translating these requirements into technical documents that enable accurate and rapid delivery of quality solutions.
Our office is based in Auckland. We like to bring people together in person when we can, but we are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/life balance. We therefore leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best!
What You’ll Do
- Meeting with user groups to gather and analyse end user requirements.
- Analysing workflow to create process maps and isolate areas of potential improvement.
- Developing functional specifications that design and document desired outcome of system enhancement/development.
- Producing technical specifications to communicate user requirements in technical terms to analyst programmers/project team.
- Coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the overall efficiency, functionality, and user friendliness of system enhancement/development.
- Preparing material and provide training and assistance to end-users following implementation
