Your aim will be to generate and compile reports based on your own investigations and appropriate business data to recommend solutions which address business issues or add value.
This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.

Use defined, agreed upon, Business Analysis methods in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and for the enhancement of existing applications.

  • Analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
  • Working with various implementation teams, both formal and informal, to ensure successful delivery and roll out of change initiatives. This may include production of training materials, standard operating procedures and data migration documents.
  • Conduct research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support capital investments.
  • Working with business representatives (Process Owners) and IT teams to understand and deliver business requirements
  • Define, document and agree processes that meet the agreed business goals and translate into operational processes within the relevant business systems
  • Working as part of the IT team to integrate and align current and future business system projects with the agreed strategy

The ideal candidate will have a background that involves working within business analysis and preferably within the FMCG sector.

  • The ability to demonstrate a background of Business Analysis within a large and complex infrastructure is highly desirable.
  • A thorough understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of Business Analysis management is essential.
  • A thorough understanding of Business Analysis phases, techniques and tools is essential.
  • Strong and tested communication skills, including sponsor and risk management is essential.
  • An ability to quickly understand specific business processes and requirements is essential.
  • Ability to provide realistic expectations, establish specific customer satisfaction standards and actively monitor client satisfaction is essential.
  • Knowledge of the current business analysis methodology and tools is preferable
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including communicating with technical and non-technical clients and staff at all organisational levels with a customer orientated approach is essential.
  • Team player with ability to be self-sufficient, using a collaborative approach to solve problems is essential
  • Ability to work in a structured environment to deliver agreed objectives and business goals set out by the business is essential
  • Ability to manage people involved in any requirements analysis whether internal or external suppliers is essential.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills are essential.

Adaptability/to be flexible to changing of project requirements and business demands is essential.

  • Able to communicate at all levels with an excellent customer facing manner.
  • Educated to degree level within an IT related discipline is preferable.
  • ITIL v4, Prince 2 Foundation and BCS level qualifications desirable.
  • Travel to other locations within the business to deliver and support projects is necessary for the role
