QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong understanding of Auto insurance processes, products, and regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate large quantities of data, ask probing questions, and derive conclusions coupled with the ability to make accurate decisions in a limited timeframe.
  • Provide internal processing and research support on complex submissions.
  • Build models used for predictive data analysis.
  • Ability to break down large amounts of data into concise, easy-to-understand formats.
  • Proven experience as a project manager.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools (ex. Monday, Power BI).
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Strategic thinking and organizational skills.
    The pay range for this role is:
    75,000 - 85,000 USD per year (Rancho Cucamonga Office)
    75,000 - 85,000 USD per year (West Hills Office

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • This position requires a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in overseeing and executing key projects within our insurance organization. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within scope, budget, and timeline while ensuring high-quality deliverables and stakeholder satisfaction. This position will be heavily focused on all underwriting projects but will also have duties for ALL corporate projects. This will also require you to work directly with our IT team to drive projects across the finish line by being the direct communicator with the developers. Additionally, you will be the primary point of contact for all new and current Underwriting projects which will require you to work directly with the corresponding business units.
  • Bonus: Up to 10% – 15% of salary, based on qualifying conditions

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Project Planning and Execution:
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Lead project teams in the execution of tasks and deliverables.
  • Monitor and control project activities to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, which will include all departments in the organization.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.
  • Ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and aligned with project outcomes.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify and assess project risks, developing mitigation strategies.
  • Proactively address issues and obstacles that may impact project success.
  • Implement risk management best practices to ensure project success.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Define and implement quality assurance processes to guarantee the delivery of high-quality project outcomes.
  • Conduct regular project reviews to assess and improve project performance.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and accurate meeting notes.
  • Provide regular project status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
