POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a positive and experienced Agile Business Analyst to join one of our digital tribes within AXA Partners CLP IT team in Shannon. You will join a team of diverse, skilled and experienced IT Professionals where the role requires a motivated individual who has proven track record delivering within an agile environment.

TECHNICAL/ FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • 4 years technical background in software engineering
  • Insurance Business knowledge
  • Abilities to write clear user stories and concise acceptance criteria
  • Deep experience in Agile Methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, …)
  • Proven experience working with insurance markets, preferably credit & lifestyle protection
  • Understanding of Credit & Lifestyle Protection processes
  • Ability to analyse and understand both technical and business documentations and deduce valid requirements which can be translated into viable products.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of UX
  • Knowledge of API and cloud technologies
  • Team player and able to work collaboratively with others
  • Language skills: English
  • Collaborative working

EDUCATION, PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • IT or BA qualification
  • Agile certification preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product Owners to build, refine, and prioritize backlog
  • Work with Product Owners, business and technical teams to translate high-level business requirements into detailed User Stories and functional specifications
  • Coordinate with Product Owners, developers, and testers to ensure correct requirements, test, and acceptance criteria
  • Participate in Agile Ceremonies with Product Owners and business stakeholders
  • Support change requirements through accurate impact analysis and change specifications
  • Assist in enhancing business analysis processes within the BA’s Centre’s of Excellence (COE)
  • Assist the Product Owner in determining which business requirements can and should be automated and how they are integrated with other business and technical processes
  • Manage end-to-end change process, including support for the implementation of new/changed systems to ensure timely and quality delivery
  • Investigate and resolve user problems channeled via Helpdesk or equivalent to minimize disruption to business activity, including management of Level 3 production break fix resolution issues
  • Provide support to other business analysts to proactively share knowledge, expertise, and advice, and provide knowledge transfer to IT groups
  • Participate in or lead client workshops and meetings
