Description:

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The Business Analyst will work in a multi-vendor change delivery team running large and complex programmes across both Corporate & Markets legacy and new estates. Projects often involve significant complexities including regulatory requirements, legacy infrastructure, multiple business units, IT security considerations and critical service introduction activity.

Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Work alongside senior business partners, in a pre-project capacity, to produce a high-level view of business need to facilitate the preparation of the Do-Ability assessment / Business Case.
  • Conduct research to determine if solutions to business requirements currently exist within or outside the business area, and if not, whether new solutions are feasible.
  • Support the budgeting, scoping, planning and shaping of the solution, working alongside the business, Group Change and Group IT.
  • Act as ‘translator’ between the business and external providers, clarifying doubts / questions and settling conflicts.
  • Implement and support the definition and continuous upkeep of Business Analysis, Design and Documentation standards, appropriate methodologies as set and conform to applicable architectural standards.
  • Contribute to mechanisms to preserve, harvest and share key knowledge with important team members, using appropriate tools.
  • Maintain & monitor standards, controls, processes and solutions, to minimise business and IT risk.
