For this role, you’ll be closely working with DIGIT.A.2, a Directorate-General of the European Commission. This role involves collaborating closely with Commission services and stakeholders to provide high-quality corporate solutions and information systems, supporting the Commission’s Digital Transformation and EU policies

QUALIFICATIONS

• Good knowledge of BPMN or UML or equivalent
• Good knowledge of Wiki
• Knowledge of software development methodologies
• Knowledge of Data Analytics techniques and tools
• Experience in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing
• Experience with languages like R, Python, PERL, Good knowledge of business intelligence tools (Tableau, Qlik, SAS, SAP, GoodData…)
• Expertise in the ETL processes and tools (SAS, Talend Open Studio)
• Good knowledge of SQL tooling
• Excellent knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, Neural Network, and/or artificial intelligence frameworks.

Non-technical Skills

• Ability to integrate into an international/multicultural environment.
• Rapid self-starting capability and experience in teamwork.
• Participation in multilingual meetings.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment on multiple large projects.
• Excellent team player with a high degree of discretion and integrity, given the sensitive data handled.

• Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements.
• Document and model business processes and models.
• Analyze functional requirements and business cases.
• Perform risk analysis and contribute to Business cases, Vision documents, Project Charters, and Security Plans.
• Adapt to changing solution assignments based on portfolio/project/service needs.
