We are excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team and contribute to the success of DIGIT.A.2. You will be working in a near-site position (up to 200km away) in Brussels.

For this role, you’ll be closely working with DIGIT.A.2, a Directorate-General of the European Commission. This role involves collaborating closely with Commission services and stakeholders to provide high-quality corporate solutions and information systems, supporting the Commission’s Digital Transformation and EU policies
QUALIFICATIONS
- Good knowledge of BPMN or UML or equivalent
- Good knowledge of Wiki
- Knowledge of software development methodologies
- Knowledge of Data Analytics techniques and tools
- Experience in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing
- Experience with languages like R, Python, PERL, Good knowledge of business intelligence tools (Tableau, Qlik, SAS, SAP, GoodData…)
- Expertise in the ETL processes and tools (SAS, Talend Open Studio)
- Good knowledge of SQL tooling
- Excellent knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, Neural Network, and/or artificial intelligence frameworks.
Non-technical Skills
- Ability to integrate into an international/multicultural environment.
- Rapid self-starting capability and experience in teamwork.
- Participation in multilingual meetings.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment on multiple large projects.
- Excellent team player with a high degree of discretion and integrity, given the sensitive data handled.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements.
- Document and model business processes and models.
- Analyze functional requirements and business cases.
- Perform risk analysis and contribute to Business cases, Vision documents, Project Charters, and Security Plans.
- Adapt to changing solution assignments based on portfolio/project/service needs.
