PRINCIPAL FUNCTION

As part of the Business Change team you will help us to deliver on our vision and, as a Business Analyst, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to deliver quality solutions to the headline challenges of the day.

EXPERIENCE

  • Understanding of Agile and Waterfall.
  • Ideally a recognised BA qualification or the completion of sub-modules within a recognised BA qualification. Alternatively, the firm will support you through appropriate qualifications.
  • Business analysis experience, ideally within asset or wealth management.
  • Sufficient operational and technical knowledge to be able propose potential target operating model solutions.
  • Ability to work in a complex operating environments whilst maintaining the ability to gather requirements from SMEs.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the scope of the activity.
  • Champion Change governance procedures and controls.
  • Demonstrate curiosity by questioning the current state.
  • Undertake analysis from a user-centric viewpoint, utilising user journeys, user personas and data.
  • Help stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement in the future state.
  • Elicit, analyse, and document requirements using a variety of techniques, with the aim of creating business requirements documents or user stories that are clear, meaningful, and traceable.
  • Validate solutions to ensure that they deliver value and meet stakeholder needs.
  • Collaborate with developers at refinements meetings, sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing to ensure that solutions are fit for purpose.
  • Raise risks, issues and dependencies to project managers where needed.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through open and honest communication.
