JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join the team at a leading insurance firm specializing in the Homecare space following the recent acquisition of a regional partner in the same industry. The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in conducting fit-gap analysis and possess a deep understanding of the home-care and aged-care sectors.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on integration and transformation projects in the insurance or healthcare industry.
- Knowledge of home care and aged care services, including regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct thorough fit-gap analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience working in Agile or other iterative development methodologies is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and drive projects to successful completion.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality, accurate, and timely results.
- Collaborative mindset, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to achieving shared goals.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand business objectives and requirements related to the integration and transformation project.
- Conduct thorough fit-gap analysis to assess the compatibility and alignment of processes, systems, and data between the acquired regional partner and our existing operations.
- Identify areas of synergy and opportunities for improvement to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and optimize performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, finance, and legal, to facilitate the integration process and ensure seamless transition.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and system specifications, to support the integration and transformation initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business needs into actionable solutions and drive implementation efforts.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to business units throughout the integration process, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and managing change effectively.
- Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and report on status, risks, and dependencies to senior management and project sponsors.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices, methodologies, and tools to support continuous improvement in integration and transformation processes.
