Mō te tūranga | About the Role
This role supports the delivery of Westpac’s cybersecurity strategy by working with a variety of stakeholders to elicit, analyse, validate, specify, and communicate requirements for changes to business processes, information, and systems.
In this role you will focus on assisting in the successful delivery of Cyber Security initiatives and the Cyber Security Improvement Plan (CSIP).
You will engage and communicate with various stakeholders, particularly technology teams, to ensure requirements are elaborated, validated, and understood.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?

  • Experience in delivering key initiatives with strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail or an interest in this space.
  • Awareness of Agile delivery methodology, including working with product owners to develop and refine user stories and assist with backlog management, is advantageous.
  • Familiar with tools including Atlassian suite, Microsoft suite and other security tools.
  • You will role-model the culture & mindsets
  • A team player with great communication skills, especially when it comes to explaining complex technologies to non-technical stakeholders and continually evolving the way we work to best deliver to our customers.
  • Supporting documentation when delivering to stakeholder requirements.
  • Ability to explain and break down complex, technical insights in a clear and compelling way.
  • Can easily navigate and manage competing priorities and schedules and can balance working autonomously as well as in team environments.
  • Growth mindset to develop skills and knowledge that are both deep and broad (T-shaped) to contribute to team delivery.
  • Agile values– adaptable to change and collaboration, maintains focus on continuous improvement and continuous delivery of business and customer value.
  • Experience in creating documentation and project artefacts (requirement documents, process maps, stakeholder packs, etc) advantageous.
