Description:

An exciting opportunity exists for a Business Analyst who will identify, analyse and document current state and future state business processes and requirements within a complex Information Management (IM)/Information Communication Technology (ICT) environment to ensure the delivery of valued, integrated and effective business solutions to programs/projects. Digital Health Projects deliver ICT initiatives for the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. The next phase of initiatives includes upgrades, enhancements and expansion to existing Sunshine Coast University Hospital deployed applications, uplifts to infrastructure capacity and capabilities at both Nambour General Hospital (NGH) and Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH) and new strategic ICT initiatives.
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Assist with the collation and analysis of ‘As-Is’ and ‘To-Be’ business process models using approved methods and tools.
  • Assist with the development of business and software requirements specifications for IM/ICT projects, ensuring traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Liaise with business stakeholders to ensure business/software requirements are incorporated and fit for purpose.
  • Perform administrative functions and other duties as directed by the Principal Business Analyst or Project Manager.
    Remuneration value up to $127,235 p.a., comprising salary between $102 492 - $111 516 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO5). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
