Business Analyst - digital transformation

This 12 months contract engagement that could well extend, can be based in either Sydney, Canberra or Melbourne and offers a hybrid work environment. Our large client, a Federal Government Agency, is continuing to build its digital capabilities, and as such, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join an existing multi-disciplinary team.
Working closely with the Product Manager and relevant business areas, you will develop high value digital services and products, whilst keeping users needs at the forefront.

THE ROLE WILL SEE YOU:

• Engage with internal and external users, to understand and capture user and business needs and identify opportunities for the future state.
• Work closely with solution architects to design solution that fit within the architecture standards for the program.
• Configure the SaaS platform to implement the stories/PBIs, - they are in the beta phase of the product.
• Support user engagement throughout the different phases of Discovery, Alpha, Beta and Live; including the provision of ongoing business and technical advice.
• Develop content for business consumption, translating technical solutions/features into a style suitable for wider business consumption
• Collaborate with user researchers and stakeholders to form the bigger strategic picture.

YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:

• Australian Citizenship and ability to gain Baseline Security Clearance
• Extensive experience as a Business Analysis in large scale transformations
• Strong track record working in agile and multi-disciplinary teams
• Human Centred Design approach to service delivery
• The ability to configure SaaS platforms will be a key part of the role.
• The ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to Influence and guide decisions with senior stakeholders.
• Collaborative team player, along with excellent communication skills
