Wedgwood & Waterford ecommerce team is now looking for a
Business Analyst
As part of Fiskars Group, Wedgwood & Waterford are on a journey to build a substantial direct-to-consumer eCommerce business. With an ambition to grow 3x and more over the coming years, you will be joining a key strategic program to ensure the growth of Fiskars Group into the next 100 years.
As a Business Analyst, your job is to drive sales forecasting, business analysis and management reporting for global Wedgwood, Waterford and Royal Doulton webstore business, enabling long term business decisions based on continuous tracking and analysis of current performance and accurate forecasts.
The role is part of the Fiskars Group’s direct ecommerce organization and is reporting to eCommerce Director, English & Crystal brands.

Some of your key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating bottom-up sales forecasting and validate total forecast level to ensure high quality forecast
  • Responsible for direct ecommerce sales forecasting input to S&OP process
  • Managing the inventory reservation order process for ecommerce i.e. identifying the reservation needs, and requesting inventory reservations based on forecast, consumption, and availability situation analysis
  • Assisting ecommerce team in building the sales activity plan
  • Analysing ecommerce sales looking at KPIs to identify performance of products, campaigns etc. to define actionable insights to improve performance of ecommerce business
  • Preparing reports & presentations for weekly, monthly & quarterly business reviews together with ecommerce manager.

About you:
We are looking for a colleague who is passionate about sales analysing and forecasting. You enjoy analysing sales data and using those insights to help to grow the business. You have a strong business drive and desire to lead in your own field, work independently and build new. You are a fast learner and you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You are comfortable working cross-functionally and cross-culturally in a global dynamic organization. You enjoy working with different stakeholders and team members and building together a fast growing business.

You also have:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working in sales planning, sales analyzing or in Finance
  • Structured and methodical way in analyzing and reporting combined with strong business acumen
  • Good experience in analyzing large data sets, extracting what is important and presenting it in a management friendly format
  • Exceptional Excel skills and basic understanding of BI and reporting system like Tableau
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills in English as well as strong interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or similar experience

This role is based either in our UK or US office and is a hybrid role (onsite/remote).
