Job Description
Our Dublin based client is currently looking for a Business Analyst to join their team on a contract basis.

Job Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Operating Model Analysis: Analyze existing business processes and operating models, identifying areas for optimization, standardization, and automation.
  • Process Mapping: Document current state and future state business processes, identifying key pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Business Impact Assessment: Conduct impact assessments to evaluate the potential impact of proposed changes on business operations, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Solution Design: Work with cross-functional teams to design and develop solutions that address business needs and align with operating model objectives.
  • Change Management: Support change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and training, to facilitate smooth transitions and user adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Performance Measurement: Define and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of operating model changes and track progress towards business goals.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and assess risks associated with operating model changes, developing mitigation strategies to minimize business impact and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors, ensuring alignment with project objectives and expectations.

Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience with operating model analysis and redesign initiatives.
  • Proficiency in process mapping, requirements gathering, and solution design.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

Educational Requirements

  • A degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in business analysis or project management are advantageous.
