Business Analyst - FinTech Scotland

THE OPPORTUNITY:

FinTech Scotland is seeking a motivated, analytical thinker to take up the role of Business Analyst. The Business Analyst will be an important member of the FinTech Scotland Team and under the guidance of the COO, the role holder will support the team in its mission to enable the potential economic, societal and environmental benefits of FinTech innovation in Scotland. FinTech Scotland is an independent not for profit cluster body jointly established with the financial services sector, universities and Scottish Enterprise.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week). However, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
Fixed Term for 2 years.

YOUR SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive self-starter with strong attention to detail.
• Critical thinker with an ability to approach problems analytically to drive solutions.
• A team player with great organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
