Overview:
We are excited to be recruiting a Business Analyst to join our Latin America and Caribbean client service team in Ipswich!
This is a great opportunity if you are a graduate looking to step into a Business Analyst position, or you may have experience and be looking for a new challenge!
Within this role, you will support the Operations Director and Business Leaders in all aspects of the financial management of the team and ensure the delivery of financial goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Operations Director in the implementation of the company strategic plan as set by the Senior Leadership Team
  • Supervise and control the information in the CRM, by collaborating closely with the business to ensure the timely and accurate recording of data
  • Responsible for monitoring the BU revenue and costs, ensuring they are appropriately budgeted, forecasted and shared with the relevant Manager’s are reported in line with the Group’s revenue recognition policy
  • Review monthly management financials and assist in providing insight on significant variances
  • Assist in the annual budgeting and monthly / quarterly forecasting processes
  • Act as the key link between Gallagher Re Finance and the Business Unit
  • Ensure that all controllable costs and those allocated costs where the BU has some influence (e.g. overseas offices costs, etc) are both acceptable, budgeted and accurately forecasted
  • Be prepared to represent the team in any financial forum
  • Ensure that Sales data is appropriately collated and shared with relevant partners
  • Produce other ad hoc reports as required

Qualifications:

  • Data analytical skills and mathematical competence essential
  • Industry experience an advantage but not essential for the right candidate
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to communicate / articulate points across all level of stakeholders
  • Able to exert positive influence and hold people accountable
  • Able to develop and apply strategic judgement in line with company objectives
  • Focused, attention to detail and organised approach to work
  • Spanish language skills are desirable but not essential
