The Business Analyst plays a key role in driving reporting and analysis for our distribution center. Specifically, the Business Analyst is to create, update and evolve a full reporting suite from all our sources and enable the DC to extract and utilize that data to drive growth and efficiencies across all functional areas while providing project management oversight to DC initiatives. This role will need to develop and enhance manual reporting tools while taking ownership of the development of a more sophisticated and sustainable suite of reporting. The Business Analyst – Project Manager will demonstrate experience and aptitude in the technical construction and maintenance of SQL databases and multiple data sources such as Google Analytics, as well as collaborate with the team to enable the design, development, and delivery of reports, dashboards, and general analytics utilizing PowerBI.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Enable BI self-sufficiency across the DC and Fulfilment environment.
  • Exposure to related Microsoft tools (Sharepoint, Teams, Power Apps).
  • Experience with Tableau, MicroStrategy, Looker or Domo in lieu of Power BI experience.
  • Experience working with and extracting data from ERP/WMS applications (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) or Order Management systems in lieu of Dynamics AX experience.
  • Proactively introduce new data analysis and reporting across the DC and leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
  • Support the business with Labor Management through fair and accurate reporting and analysis.
  • Proactively recommend, plan, and execute strategic initiatives in support of Hanna’s Business Intelligence transformation.
  • Ability to work cross functionally with internal and external business partners and vendors.
  • Create job schedules, monitor processes, make appropriate program modifications, ensure continuous improvement of data structure, reporting efficiencies and accuracy.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget using project management tools.
  • Troubleshoot production issues including both data integrity and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain user approved documentation on all BI applications and reports.
  • Support the preparation of PowerPoint decks/business presentations.
  • Ability to set up and monitor projects, while managing and measuring work.
  • Ability to understand and document workflow and process flow.
  • Great written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work holidays where required.
