ABOUT THE ROLE
As a short-term contractual role, the HLC is looking to recruit a Business Analyst. You will play a pivotal role in understanding user needs, defining requirements, and ensuring the successful implementation of user-centric solutions for our new Management Information System. This position is crucial for enhancing the overall user experience and satisfaction of our project. This role is based in Pinkenba.
We want to assure candidates that we understand that the time demands of consulting can be challenging, so please note that the work will take approximately 15 days, split out over the larger project. This time will be split into a number of days (3-5) across several phases, the timing and requirements of which we will negotiate with you through the interview process. This should allow you the opportunity to continue with any current projects simultaneously.
THE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for newly developing MIS platform, focusing on user experience.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
Work closely with the Platform Developer and project manager to translate user requirements into actionable design and functionality specifications.
Develop user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts to communicate user needs effectively.
Assist in the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups to visualize and validate proposed solutions.
Document and prioritize user stories, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
Provide regular updates on project progress, highlighting key achievements and addressing potential challenges.
