Description:

  • 3+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
  • 3+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
  • Experience in customer segmentation, customer behavior analysis, conjoint/trade-off modeling
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
    As a Business Analyst on the Amazon International Emerging Stores Payments team you will own analytics for our emerging stores businesses in APAC.
    Your primary focus will be leveraging your passion for digging into data, structuring problems, and building analyses to identify actionable insights from application data and digital marketing channels, both on Amazon and off. You enjoy being creative in your use of data-driven tools and methodologies to understand marketing levers and are eager to initiate new ideas, approaches and actions to move the business forward.

Key job responsibilities

  • You will own reporting and insights to identify and evaluate opportunities to drive funnel conversion.
  • Develop and streamline necessary dashboards and one-off analyses, providing ability to surface business-critical KPIs, monitor the health of marketing channels and effectively communicate performance.
  • Partner with stakeholders and Business Intelligence teams to acquire necessary data for robust analysis.
  • Convert data into insights including implications and recommendations that are specific and actionable for the Product team and across the business.
  • Partner with other analysts as well as data engineering and technology teams to support building a best-in-class marketing platform and data infrastructure.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify key metrics used to evaluate marketing performance.
  • Identify, implement, and analyze a/b tests and campaigns.
  • Stay current on best practice in Analytics methodologies and trends.
  • Communicate insights using data visualization and presentations to stakeholders.

The International Emerging Stores Payments team provides our customers with new, innovative and easy-to-use ways to pay when shopping on Amazon in various countries around the world. Whether it’s giving customers in Mexico a way to shop on Amazon using cash, helping customers in Saudi Arabia send a Gift Card to a loved one for their birthday, enabling customers in Singapore to use QR codes & pay instantly with PayNow, or providing customers in Kenya with a way to pay for their Prime Video subscription in their local currency, this team are the custodians and champions of our customers’ paying experience around the world!
We are a highly visible and diverse organization physically present in over 13 countries, with roles spanning across product development & management, engineering, data science, machine learning, sales & business development, operations, risk & compliance, finance and marketing.
