Business Analyst

As part of the ITSC Team, the individual will provide business analyst expertise in support of CISA’s Integrated Operations Division (IOD) mission to prepare, plan, and manage CISA operations and the delivery of CISA capabilities and services to support the defense and security of our nation’s infrastructure.
Experience Preferred: Minimum 5 Years experience in the duties outlined below supporting a DHS organization and/or a Defense organization.
Degree Preferred: Bachelor Degree
Clearance Preferred: DHS Clearance

Duties: The individual should be well-versed in the duties and responsibilities outlined below:

• Gather and analyze data which support the mission objectives associated with IOD projects.
• Assist in Records Management with NARA Compliance.
• Coordinate with different departmental teams to support the improvement IOD mission effectiveness and efficiency.
• Support the testing of business processes and improvement recommendation.
• Write clear and well-structured business requirements and documentation.
• Create reports, dashboards and visualizations to help others understand business performance.
• Analyze process issues and bottlenecks to make improvements.
• Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders.
• Support the development and maintenance of reporting requirements.
• Perform data discovery, analysis and modeling.
• Collaborate with project managers on roadmap planning.
