Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Business Analyst specialising in migrations, you will play a pivotal role in the organisation’s migration project. You will be responsible for leading migration projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving efficiency, mitigating risks, and maximising the value of our migration initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on migrations within the Tech or SaaS industry.
  • Strong understanding of migration methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and insights from complex data sets.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, with a solid understanding of Agile principles and practices.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful migration projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end migration projects, from initial planning and scoping to execution and post-implementation review.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable migration plans.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems and data, identifying potential challenges and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop comprehensive migration strategies, including data mapping, process optimisation, and change management.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure smooth integration of systems and applications.
  • Monitor migration progress, track key metrics, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify risks and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies to minimise disruptions.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the success of migrations and identify areas for further improvement.
