REQUIRED SKILLS OR TECHNIQUES

• A degree in an IT-related field, such a computer science or systems science.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience as a Business Analyst in IT projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable managing and transforming large amounts of data.
• You should be self-going, pro-active and structured. You will need to anticipate challenges and be a driving force in the project.
• Fluent in English.
• Good communication and networking skills.

THE PROJECT AND THE ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for Business Analyst who would join a project for our Swedish client, a global manufacturing company that provides professionals and consumers with forest, park, lawn and garden products.
The IT Business Analyst gathers, documents, and analyzes business needs and requirements and transform them into viable specifications and acceptance criteria.
In this role you will be a key person analyzing business problems and design technical solutions. You will document the functional and sometimes the technical design of the system in collaboration with the architect and business stakeholders. You will also have a limited testing role, as you will coordinate and conduct acceptance testing to validate deliveries against the requirements.
In addition to the BA function, you will be coordinating a number of smaller incoming IT demands to ensure that the business needs are properly defined and ensure progress with the responsible delivery teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop a detailed understanding of the Husqvarna Construction business, our product assortment, and the associated IT landscape.
• Work in pre-studies, projects and change activities to collect business requirements and transform them into specifications used as input to software development and/or configuration.
• Validate deliveries against the specifications and perform limited testing activities.
• Support in defining business cases for IT demands.
• Build and maintain good relations with key business stakeholders, internal GIS colleagues, as well as external suppliers.
  You will be reporting directly to the project manager and the Business Engagement Manager for the project portfolio you are supporting.
