ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a genuinely interesting and varied Business Analyst role, not just one filling out tables and forms. On one day, you may be mapping business processes and modelling the domain for an industry that is undergoing a huge period of digital transformation. On another day, you might be capturing very specific user demands and challenges for a wide variety of personas – our internal staff, our clients’ staff, their customers, and their families.
On another day you may shift from a business context to a purely software one, and must create clear user stories, drawing on your disparate research, and applying it to a single software platform that addresses one part of the domain.
You will be part of a strong and knowledgeable team interacting with a complex and demanding business stakeholder community where effective collaboration and strong communication skills combined with business understanding are all key to success. You will be working in a multi country environment, uncover and understand complex needs and empathize with business stakeholder needs while building understanding and buy-in for challenging priority calls.
You’ll collaborate with engineering, product and stakeholders across our various UK companies, which currently include Rendall & Rittner, TPG, Premier Estates, and Vegner Group, gaining a comprehensive understanding of complex needs and processes. Your proven expertise in requirements analysis will guide the development of our next-gen property management platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Play a pivotal role in understanding complex business needs through comprehensive requirements analysis, engaging stakeholders across various business units.
  • Advise product and leadership teams by distilling key insights into comprehensive specifications that guide development efforts and enable strategic decision-making.
  • Continuously evaluate processes and business needs, driving innovation and transformation as business and technology evolve rapidly.
  • Continuously assess and sense-check product requests, providing deep analysis of the business problems that need to be solved, and then describing them in clear and unambiguous ways.
  • Generate artefacts in a variety of ways, from technical ticketing systems to structured documents and non-technical presentations.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the service delivery models used in the Odevo companies and how the service delivery relates to the product platforms.
  • Collect, analyse, and synthesize staff and customer feedback and market research to define and refine product requirements.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of how new product features impact the business processes of each Odevo company and propose common solutions.
  • Support validation of features during development through user testing and feedback loops in collaboration with Odevo’s Design function.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics for product launches, regularly analyze product performance, and make data-driven recommendations for optimizations and improvements.
  • Continuously contribute insights on market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
