    We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Payments Consultant with a good understanding of various payments types, including Domestic Fund Transfer, Cross Border Payments/SWIFT, Instant or Faster Payments, RTGS, SEPA, as well as knowledge in ISO 20022 messaging standard, MT103, and MT202.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of various payments types and their associated processes.
  • Familiarity with ISO 20022 messaging standard, MT103, and MT202.
  • Proficiency in creating scalable and reusable solutions in JIRA.
  • Experience in defining interface definitions for third-party integrations.
  • Ability to capture and configure configuration requirements in payments systems.
  • Previous experience working with SDLC methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
  • Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, and MS Visio.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    Salary Package: $140K-$160K (incl. super)

Responsibilities:

  • Utilise expertise in various payments types to provide tailored solutions to meet client needs.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
  • Translate business requirements into clear and concise user stories, use cases, and functional specifications.
  • Define and create reusable interface definitions for third-party applications integrating with payments systems.
  • Capture configuration requirements and configure the payments systems for various payments flows.
  • Perform technical analysis for projects supporting key business initiatives and system upgrades.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to balance technical complexities with business requirements.
  • Create and maintain system, functional, and reference documentation.
  • Operate and deliver projects using multiple SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
