Business Analyst On behalf of our client in the Professional Services Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Business Analyst. Business Analyst - Job Description

• 3-5 years working experience in business analysis or equivalent roles with increasing consulting and supervisory skills
• Preferred project management experience in a fast-paced production environment with a strong emphasis on client experience and excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interviewing and listening skills - ability to facilitate information gathering sessions with SMEs, and ask probing questions to ensure completeness of requirements and capture of end-to-end processes with minimal baseline direction from senior leadership
• Identify patterns and trends in technical environment stability and take action/make recommendations for improvement
• Able to translate technical requirements to a non-technical stakeholder
• Demonstrated ability to support stakeholders in decision making, exchange ideas or reach an agreement regarding priorities
• Excellent business and technical writing skills - ability to clearly and concisely document large amounts of information and convey to several audiences
• Experience working with current technologies such as: Jira, Confluence and G Suite (Gmail, Hangouts, Calendar, Google+, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Atlassian product suites
• Self-motivated, self-directed and able to work independently
• Demonstrates the ability to go “beyond the page,” to apply critical thinking that ultimately leads to opportunities, solutions and answers which drive real business value
• Client-focused mindset, delivering superior customer results with outcome focused delivery
• Excellent personal organization and ability to prioritize while working on multiple concurrent initiatives
• Able to influence stakeholders and drive projects to meet key milestones and overcome challenges
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills and interpersonal abilities
• Proven leadership skills with strong decision-making capability and judgment
• Problem-solving skills to apply critical thinking to understand business needs and solutions
• Post-secondary education required in business analysis, information systems, Lean, Agile or a related field or equivalent experience
• Proficient with G Suite, MS Office and diagramming techniques and tools
• Demonstrated ability to maintain composure in stressful situations, respond to customer needs quickly and effectively, and adaptive to change

Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years of content writing experience
• 5+ years of content strategy experience
• 2-3 years’ experience with data and analytics
• Demonstrated interest in finance
• Strong stakeholder management skills required
• Excellent communication skills
• Positive, can-do, open mindset
• Problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience - preferred fields: design, communication, journalism, media
• SEO certification an asset

Business Analyst- Preferred Skills

• Previous Financial Services experience considered an asset
• Bilingual in French and English is a plus
