We are currently hiring two Business Analysts, one to support our Enterprise CRM (ECRM) rollout and the other to support our Cybersecurity Action Plan (CSAP).
As a Business Analyst with the ECRM team, you will bridge the gap between IT Services and our various business partners to transform the recruitment and admissions landscape, improve student experience, and empower Queen’s staff by increasing efficiencies and providing access to powerful CRM tools. The CSAP Business Analyst will be a critical link between technology and strategy, playing a pivotal role in safeguarding our institution for cyberthreats while enhancing our security posture. In both cases, you will utilize your exceptional analytical and communication skills, along with your deep understanding of BA techniques such as stakeholder analysis and engagement, requirements elicitation, documentation and management, and business process mapping and re-engineering to contribute to the development of robust solutions for IT Services and the broader Queen’s community.
In this dynamic role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to engage and manage stakeholders and expectations, analyze complex data, understand and optimize business processes, and provide actionable insights and future state recommendations that drive informed decision making. Furthermore, your proactive attitude and communication skills must enable you to translate technical jargon into clear and concise language, empowering stakeholders at all levels to understand and address potential risks competently and effectively. This position provides expertise to aid in the planning, design and development of technical resources. This position translates business requirements into an implementation plan with clients and members of the team. This position makes recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through technology.
By joining the IT Services team at Queen’s University, you’ll immerse yourself in a vibrant community dedicated to continuous learning and professional growth.
