An initial 8 month contract has arisen for a Business Analyst with a leading higher education institution in Brisbane. If you thrive on collaborating with key stakeholders to identify opportunities and implement effective solutions, then this might be an exciting opportunity for you.

Description:
You will play a key role in analysing business processes, identifying operational requirements and leading initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness. You will work hand in hand with stakeholders to understand their needs, recommend solutions, and translate business requirements into system specifications. You will manage and coordinate a team of professionals to ensure successful delivery of business analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Implementing COTS products
• Work with change resources to deliver all change impact analysis
• Recommend new approaches to meet customer requirements
• Translate business requirements into system specifications
• Manage and coordinate a team of professionals to conduct business analysis
• Deliver all current state and future state process maps
• Conduct change impact analysis and maintain a decision register
• Ensure requirements-to-testing traceability matrix is established and maintained

About you:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a lead BA implementing COTS products and managing resources and outcomes
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to implement initiatives and solutions
